Bardibas ( Nepali बर्दिबास ) is a city ( municipality ) in the eastern Terai of Nepal in the Mahottari district .
Bardibas received city rights at the end of 2014. On this occasion, the neighboring Village Development Committees (VDCs) Gaurivas , Kisan Nagar and Maisthan were incorporated. The area is 175.3 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs that made up the city of Bardibas had 37,048 inhabitants (17,961 of them male) in 7,869 households. Thus, at that time the population density was 211 inhabitants per square kilometer.
