Gaushala ( Nepali गौशाला Gaushala ) is a city ( municipality ) in the eastern Terai of Nepal in the Mahottari district .
The city was created in 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Gaushala , Nigauli and Ramnagar . The area is 46.12 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs from which the city of Gaushala emerged had 32,111 inhabitants (15,901 male) in 5718 households.
