Jaleshwar (also Jaleswor ) is a city ( municipality ) in the Terai in Nepal .
The city forms the administrative seat of the Mahottari District in Province No. 2 . It is right on the Indian border. The northwestern Village Development Committee Anakar was incorporated. The area is 19 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the city of Jaleshwar (including Anakar) had 29,224 inhabitants (of which 14,488 male) in 5193 households.
