Kashikhanda ( Nepali काशीखण्ड ) is a city ( municipality ) in central Nepal in the Kabhrepalanchok district .
The city was created at the end of 2014 by amalgamating the Village Development Committees Dapcha Chatrebas , Daraune Pokhari , Khanalthok , Mathurapati Phulbari , Methinkot and Puranogaun Dapcha . The urban area covers 71.4 km².
Residents
At the 2011 census, the VDCs that made up the city of Kashikhanda had 21,324 inhabitants (9803 of them male) in 4830 households.
