Panchkhal ( Nepali पाँचखाल Pachkhal ) is a city ( municipality ) in central Nepal in the Kabhrepalanchok district .

The city was created in 2014 through the amalgamation of the Village Development Committees Anaikot , Deubhumi Baluwa , Hoksebazar , Panchkhal and Sathighar Bhagawati . The urban area covers 86.09 km².

Residents

At the 2011 census, the VDCs, from which the city of Panchkhal emerged, had 33,847 inhabitants (16,092 male) in 7457 households.
