Putalibazar ( Nepali पुतलीबजार नगरपालिका , formerly Syangja स्याङजा) is a city ( municipality ) in central Nepal .

Putalibazar is located in the valley of the Aadhi Khola about 25 km southwest of Pokhara . The city is the administrative seat of the Syangja district . The urban area covers 70.14 km².

At the 2011 census, the city of Putalibazar had 30,704 inhabitants (13,549 of them male) in 8180 households.
