Nélio Domingos Zortea
Nélio Domingos Zortea (born December 1, 1963 in Iraí , Rio Grande do Sul , Brazil ) is a Brazilian clergyman and Roman Catholic bishop of Jataí .
Life
Nélio Domingos Zortea received the sacrament of ordination for the Archdiocese of Cascavel on October 12, 1995 .
Pope Francis appointed him Bishop of Jataí on November 18, 2015 . He was ordained bishop on January 30 of the following year by the old archbishop of Cascavel, Lúcio Ignácio Baumgaertner . Co- consecrators were the Archbishop of Curitiba , José Antônio Peruzzo , and the Archbishop of Cascavel, Mauro Aparecido dos Santos . The inauguration in the diocese of Jataí took place on February 13, 2016.
