Works (selection)

Núria Añó's works are shaped by the psychology of their characters, often that of the antiheroes. The figure is an important feature of her work and occupies a much more important place than the subject. In this way, thanks to her feminine and less sentimental introspection, she succeeds in achieving a unique balance between parallel peripheral worlds. Her novels deal with a wide variety of social and current issues, such as injustice and the lack of communication between individuals. The basis of their novels often remains unexplained. Through this challenge, Añó seeks to involve the reader in the event as she understands it, but also in discovering the “deep meanings” it contains.
