The 1913-14 season was the fifth regular season for the National Hockey Association (NHA). The champions were the Quebec Bulldogs .

Team changes

The following changes were made before the start of the season:

In the regular season, the six teams played 20 games each. The first two players played two playoff games against each other, with the team with the better goal difference from both games being champions. Each team received two points for a win, one point for a tie and zero points for a defeat.

Season course

The Canadiens de Montréal and the Toronto Blueshirts delivered a head-to-head race for first place of the regular season from the start, with both teams eventually reaching 26 points. Subsequently, a playoff decision was made between the first two for the first time. Although the Canadiens were able to present with a 2-0 home win, they were defeated in Toronto in the second leg with 0: 6, whereupon the Blueshirts achieved the NHA championship title for the first time.

In the playoffs for the Stanley Cup , the Toronto Blueshirts were able to win 3-0 against the Victoria Aristocrats from the Pacific Coast Hockey Association and defend their title.
