Nadeen Mammdoh Mohamed Wehdan or Nadin Wahdan ( Arabic نادين وهدان; * August 20, 1997 in Qatar ) is a Qatari trampoline gymnast .

Life & Career

Nadeen Mammdoh Mohamed Wehdan was born on August 20, 1997 in Qatar, where she lives in the capital Doha . She started trampoline gymnastics at an early age and over time she also practiced the sport at competitive level, mostly at national tournaments. At the Pan-Arab Games of 2011 she won the silver medal in individual jumping and in June 2012 was one of a number of local gymnasts who were honored by the Qatar Gymnastic Federation (QGF) for their achievements in recent years. At the Jannie Jansen International 2012 in Pretoria , South Africa , she won the gold medal in synchronized jumping together with Fatima Salem Abdulla . A little more than two years later, Wehdan represented her home country at the 2014 Summer Youth Olympic Games in Nanjing , China , for which she qualified at the Asian Championships in Trampoline Gymnastics in Chiba , Japan , in early June 2014 .

In the trampoline gymnastics of the Youth Summer Games , she was used in a field of 12 participants from 12 different nations and with a ninth place just barely made it into the final round, in which the eight best trampoline gymnasts of the qualification took part. In September 2014, Wehdan not only took part in the Loulé Cup 2014 in Portugal , where she finished fourth, but also took part in the trampoline gymnastics at the 2014 Asian Games in the same month , where she finished sixth and penultimate place in the women's final . At the 2014 World Trampoline Gymnastics Championships , which took place from November 7th to 9th, 2014 in Daytona Beach , Florida , she finished 42nd out of 59 places and did not make it into the final of the eight best athletes. Since then, Nadeen Wehdan has increasingly taken part in national competitions and largely withdrew from the international level.
