Naledi ( English Naledi Local Municipality ) is a local municipality in the district Dr Ruth Segomotsi Mompati District Municipality of the province of North West in South Africa . The administrative headquarters are in Vryburg .

The community is named after the Setswana word for "star".

In 2011 the community had 66,781 inhabitants. 74% of these were black, 14.7% colored and 9.5% white.

67.8% of the first language was Setswana, 23.4% Afrikaans, 3.3% English, 0.7% isiXhosa and 0.6% each isiNdebele and isiZulu .
