Nancy Richardson
Nancy Richardson (* before 1982) is an American film editor .
Nancy Richardson studied film at the University of California, Los Angeles from 1982 . She originally wanted to be a director and screenwriter. In 1986 friends asked her to edit their production Stand and Deliver , and her career as an editor began. Since 1996 she has been teaching film editing at the University of Los Angeles herself . In 2001 she was nominated for a Primetime Emmy for editing the TV biography Hendrix .
