Nancy Louise Swider-Peltz (born August 20, 1956 in Chicago , Illinois ) is a former American speed skater .

During her high school years, Swider-Peltz competed in athletics, at Wheaton College she took part in swimming competitions. From 1974 she competed in international speed skating competitions. She experienced her first Olympic Winter Games in Innsbruck in 1976 . She was able to occupy seventh place over 3000 meters. In the same year she reached eleventh place at the all- around world championships in Gjøvik . At the Sprint World Championships in 1976 in Berlin , she was fifth. A year later Swider-Peltz reached 21st place at the all- around World Championships in Keystone and 14th place at the Sprint World Championships in Alkmaar . The speed skating all- around world championship in Helsinki in 1978 she finished eleventh, the all- around world championship in 1980 in Hamar in 23rd place.
