Cynthia Fay "Cindy" Seikkula (born March 26, 1958 in Duluth , Minnesota ) is a former American speed skater .
Seikkula became the American junior speed skating champion in 1974 with Beth Heiden . A year later she became national youth champion. In 1976 she took part in the Winter Olympics in Innsbruck . Both over 1500 meters and over 3000 meters, she took 17th place. She finished the all- around World Championships in 1977 in Keystone in 14. Seikkula entered the Junior World Championships in Montreal in 1978 and reached eighth place in the all- around event . At the all- around world championship in Helsinki in the same year she reached 20th place. At the Sprint World Championships in 1978 in Lake Placid , she finished 14th in the all-around event. The sprint world championship a year later finished Seikkula in 19th place.
