reception

"Pop? Jazz? No matter. Nanne Emelie has an eye for the essentials - and fresh songs. "

- Matthias Inhoffen in stereoplay, May 2012

“Is there a new star shining in the Scandinavian jazz sky? On her debut album, the Dane Nanne Emelie mixes pop and jazz with a touch of Cuban music. ... Nanne Emelie puts a very personal piece of her own musical identity into every single note - but loses neither elegance nor energy. A special kind of musical kick. "

- Sabine Meinert on "Once Upon A Town", 2012
