Naoki Kawaguchi ( Japanese 川口 尚 紀 , Kawaguchi Naoki ; born May 24, 1994 in Nagaoka , Niigata Prefecture ) is a Japanese football player .
Career
society
Naoki Kawaguchi learned to play football in the youth team of Albirex Niigata . Here he signed his first professional contract in 2013. The club from Niigata , a city in the Niigata prefecture of the same name on Honshū , the main island of Japan , played in the country's highest league, the J1 League . From 2014 to 2015 he played seven times in the J.League U-22 Selection . This team, which played in the third division, the J3 League , was made up of the best young players from the higher-class clubs. The team was founded with a view to the 2016 Summer Olympics in Rio de Janeiro . The players were selected on a weekly basis from a pool for which each club was able to name talented individuals worth promoting; the composition of the team therefore varied greatly from game to game. In 2016 he was loaned to the second division Shimizu S-Pulse in Shimizu . With Shimizu he was runner-up at the end of the season and rose to the first division. Kashiwa Reysol , who also plays in the second division, loaned him from mid-2019 to January 2020. With the club from Kashiwa , he became champions of J2 at the end of the season and rose to the first division. After the end of his contract in Niigata, he was signed by Kashiwa in early 2020.

In 2011 Naoki Kawaguchi played four times for the Japanese U17 national team . In 2012 he wore the U19 jersey three times . In 2015 he played once for the U21 national team .
