Naoko Satō ( Japanese 佐藤 直 子 , Satō Naoko ; born January 2, 1955 ) is a former Japanese tennis player .

Career

While Satō reached a maximum of world numbering 214 in singles, she achieved her greatest successes in doubles with a tournament victory and reaching the final of the Australian Open 1978 on the side of Pam Whytcross .

In addition, she came to the Japanese Fed Cup team on 22 missions, in which she scored ten wins for her country.
