Nathaniel McKinney (born January 19, 1982 in Nassau ) is a track and field athlete from the Bahamas , whose specialty is the 400-meter run .

Sporting successes

McKinney celebrated his greatest successes with the 4 x 400 meter relay in the Bahamas: Together with Avard Moncur , Dennis Darling and Chris Brown, he subsequently won the bronze medal at the 2003 World Athletics Championships in 3: 00.53 min . after the originally victorious United States team was stripped of the gold medal for the doping offense of Calvin Harrison .

Two years later, at the World Athletics Championships in 2005 , he was the starting runner together with Avard Moncur, Andrae Williams and Chris Brown in the national record time of 2: 57.32 minutes behind the victorious US-Americans.
