The different surveys sometimes produce significantly different results. B. can be attributed to the different survey methodology of the individual institutes. The determination of the mean values from the surveys of the various institutes is therefore, in addition to the surveys themselves, a further instrument for the most realistic possible forecasts.

The table below shows the monthly mean values for the individual parties. The time of the survey of the mean value corresponds to the last day of the respective month and contains the mean value of all surveys on the Sunday question of the respective month. The number in brackets after the respective month indicates the number of surveys that have been taken into account.
