Natthaphong Samana ( Thai : ณั ฐ พง ษ์์ สมณะ , born June 29, 1984 in Chiang Mai ) is a Thai football player on the position of a defender .

Career

After seeing the youth in his hometown club FC Chiang Mai had spent, he moved in 2004 to Bangkok for FC Krung Thai Bank . With the club he was runner-up in 2007. He then moved to the champions, Chonburi FC. With him he played in the AFC Champions League in 2008 , making a total of five games. At the end of the season it was again only enough for the runner-up. In 2009 he competed with Chonburi in the AFC Cup . There he played for seven years and was runner-up five times. In early 2015 he joined Suphanburi FC . After 119 games for Suphanburi, he moved to second division Chiangmai United FC in Chiangmai in 2020 .

National team

From 2007 to 2012 Natthaphong was in the squad of the Thai national soccer team . With her he took part in the finals of the 2007 Asian Football Championship and the 2008 ASEAN Football Championship . He played almost all games in qualifying for the 2010 World Cup .
