The nature discovery route is a 73-kilometer cycle path in Saxony . The route was opened together with the product , culture and national Röderradroute on the Open Monument Day 2014. The main themes of the route are forests, mountains and lakes.

The nature adventure route begins in Arnsdorf and leads through the Massenei nature reserve to Frankenthal . After Bischofswerda the route passes the Butterberg and Rammenau . The route runs as a ring road to Rammenau. The Steinberg, the Schleißberg and the Schwedenstein follow , the route leads through Bretnig-Hauswalde , Ohorn , Steina and Elstra back to Rammenau. Butterberg, Steinberg and Schwedenstein are among the highest peaks in West Lusatia .
