Löhen nature reserve
The nature reserve Löhen is a 3.47 hectare nature reserve (NSG) south of Eisborn in the urban area of Balve in the Märkisches Kreis in North Rhine-Westphalia . The NSG was designated for the first time in 1989 by the district council of the Märkisches Kreis with the landscape plan No. 2 Balve-Mitteleres-Hönnetal under the name Buchenwald am Löhen nature reserve south of Eisborn, town of Balve . The NSG was designated again in 2015 by the district council of the Märkisches Kreis with the 2nd amendment to landscape plan No. 2 Balve-Mittleres-Hönnetal under the name Löhen .
Area description
The NSG is a beech forest with rocks.
