The nature reserve Naturwaldreservat Waldhaus with wet area in the Handthalgrund lies in the area of ​​the market Ebrach in the district Bamberg in Upper Franconia . It is the largest nature reserve in the district.

The 107.6 ha area with the number NSG-00566.01, which was placed under nature protection in 2000 , extends northwest of the core town of Ebrach. The B 22 runs south of the area, which is a natural and characteristic deciduous forest community of the Steigerwald .
