List of nature reserves in the Bamberg district

In the district of Bamberg , there are 14 nature reserves . The gray heron colony near Dippach am Main , the largest nature reserve in terms of area, established in 1998 , is almost entirely in the neighboring district of Haßberge and is therefore not included in this list. The largest nature reserve on this list is the Waldhaus natural forest reserve with a wetland in the Handthalgrund north-west of Ebrach .
