Lydia Nayeli Rangel Hernández (born February 28, 1992 in Monterrey ) is a Mexican soccer player .
Career
society
From 2010 to 2012 she played in the women's team of the UANL Tigres in her Mexican homeland. Rangel was assigned to the Sky Blue FC team in January 2013 at the so-called NWSL Player Allocation . For this she made her debut on June 1, 2013 in the game against the Boston Breakers as a substitute.
National team
Rangel made her first international match as a 17-year-old for Mexico's senior team against Venezuela on July 24, 2009. Until 2012, she was a member of the Mexican U-20 national team and took part with this in the 2008 , 2010 and 2012 World Cups . With the senior team of Mexico, she competed at the 2011 World Cup and the 2013 Algarve Cup . In 2014 she competed with Mexico in the 2014 CONCACAF Women's Gold Cup . Rangel was used in a group game, the lost semi-final against the USA and in the won game for 3rd place, through which Mexico qualified third for the 2015 World Cup. She is also part of the Mexican squad for the 2015 World Cup in Canada and is their team captain there .
