The Sporting Club de Huelva is a sports club from Huelva in Spain that has been running a women's football division since 2004 .

history

Sporting Huelva was founded by Antonio Toledo Sánchez on July 2, 1979, initially as a talent promotion club for boys, which he converted into a pure football club for women in October 2004 as part of a realignment of club policy and which he still coaches today. As early as 2006, the club was promoted to the first Spanish professional league for women, in which it is still ranked. After a 2-1 final victory over FC Valencia , he secured the Copa de la Reina on May 17, 2015, the first major title in club history.
