The Santa Teresa Club Deportivo is a sports club from Badajoz in Spain that has focused on professional football for women since its inception .

history

Santa Teresa CD was founded in 1998 as a football club for women. In 2011 he rose from the Regionalliga to the Segunda División and in 2014 from this to the first-class Primera División . Here he played top games at the Estadio Nuevo Vivero . After four seasons in the upper house of Spanish women's football, the club rose back to the second division in 2018 as bottom of the table.

In the summer of 2017, Santa Teresa also incorporated a local men's team, which is limited to promoting talent and runs for the club in the Extremadura regional league.
