Founded in 1993, the San Vicente Valencia Club de Fútbol Femenino pioneered women's football in Valencia . He played first class for several years and won the Spanish championship in 1997 before being incorporated into the Levante UD the following year.

In the first decade after the turn of the millennium, Levante were one of the top clubs in Spanish women's football, with three other league titles and six cup wins. On September 23, 2007 Levante met in a league game for the first time on the selection of the German School Valencia (DSV Colegio Alemán) , which was won 3-1. The team of the German School was incorporated in 2009 as the club's own section in Valencia CF, against which Levante played for the first time in the opening game of the 2009/10 league season in the Valencia derby on September 6, 2009 and won 2-0.
