Nebojša Kaluđerović

Nebojša Kaluđerović ( Cyrillic Небојша Калуђеровић ; born December 17, 1955 in Nikšić ) is a Montenegrin diplomat and politician. From July 18, 2012 to December 4 of the same year he was Minister of Foreign Affairs of Montenegro.

Life

In 1979 Kaluđerović graduated from the Law Faculty of the University of Belgrade with a major in international relations . From 1981 he was an employee of the Yugoslav Foreign Ministry, from 1986 to 1990 he was a member of the Yugoslav Representation to the United Nations in New York, after which he was a political advisor in the Foreign Ministry. From 1994 to 2000 he was a representative of several Serbian-Montenegrin companies in Russia . He was then a high-ranking official in the Montenegrin Ministry of Foreign Affairs, chief advisor to Prime Minister Milo Đukanović and, from 2004, permanent representative of Serbia and Montenegro at the United Nations.

On July 18, 2012, he succeeded Milan Roćen as Foreign Minister ( Minister for Foreign Affairs and European Integration ); before the end of the year, Igor Lukšić replaced him in this role. He is Professor of International Negotiation at the Political Science Faculty of the University of Montenegro .
