Nedim Halilović (born July 1, 1979 in Brčko ) is a former Bosnian national football player .

Athletic career

Halilović came to FK Sloboda Tuzla via Zmaj od Bosne and Iskra Bugojno in 2000 . After a year in the Premijer Liga , he moved to the Croatian club NK Varaždin in the 1st HNL in 2011 . In his first season, the offensive player reached the finals of the Croatian National Cup , which was lost despite a goal by Halilović in the first leg after a 1-1 draw and a 0-1 home defeat against Dinamo Zagreb . Two years later, he was with the team against the same opponent in the cup final, this time after two draws the away goals rule decided in favor of the opponent. Also in his third appearance in the finals in 2006 he drew the short straw, the 4-0 success of NK Rijeka with goals from the twice successful Davor Vugrinec , Siniša Linić and Fredi Bobic was almost equalized, after the 5-1 second leg win again the away goals rule against NK Varaždin

In the summer of 2006 Halilović moved to Sweden and joined Örebro SK in the second-rate Superettan . As a regular goalscorer, he helped the club to return to the Allsvenskan until the end of the season in autumn . There he could not build on his goal threat, the club still managed to stay close. After another half-series, coach Zlatko Dalić - once his coach at NK Varaždin - guided him back to Croatia to HNK Rijeka , where he only stayed two months. Dalić, who had meanwhile moved to Albania to Dinamo Tirana , brought him to his new club shortly before the end of the transfer period . When he was released there in February 2009, Halilović also decided to say goodbye and returned to Sweden, where he was hired by the fourth division Dalkurd FF in Division 2 . He ended his active career there at the end of 2011.

Between 2001 and 2006 Halilović played in the Bosnian-Herzegovinian national team . He was used in 16 international matches , but remained without a goal.
