Neil McCarthy
Neil McCarthy (born July 26, 1932 in Lincoln , † February 6, 1985 in Fordingbridge ) was a British actor .
He starred in films such as Agents Die Lonely , On to the Navy , The Thief of Baghdad , Shogun , A Bunch of Great Dogs and Time Bandits . Well-known roles were that of a Welsh soldier in Zulu and his embodiment of calibos in the movie Clash of the Titans .
He also played in numerous TV series such as Mit Schirm, Charme und Melone , Department S , Doctor Who , Catweazle and Die Profis .
McCarthy died of amyotrophic lateral sclerosis at the age of 52 .
