Neil Scott Walker (born June 25, 1976 in Verona , Wisconsin ) is an American swimmer who achieved his greatest successes as a relay swimmer.

Career

With the 4x100m freestyle relay of the United States, he won silver at the 2000 Olympic Games and bronze in 2004 . In addition, he was used in both games in the heats, but not in the final run, in the 4x100m medley relay, which were each Olympic champion.

Walker was also able to win several world titles and world records with US seasons; most recently he set a new world record in 3: 12.46 minutes with the 100 m freestyle relay of the United States at the Pan Pacific Games on August 19, 2006.

He achieved his best individual performance at international championships at the short course world championships in 2000, where he was able to win the world championship over 50 m and 100 m back, as well as 100 m individual medley with a new world record in the final or prelim, as well as the runner-up world championship over 50 m butterfly.
