Nell Jackson
Nell Jackson ( Nell Cecelia Jackson; born July 1, 1929 in Athens , Georgia , † April 1, 1988 in Binghamton , New York ) was an American sprinter .
In 1948 she was eliminated from the Olympic Games in London over 200 m and in the 4 x 100 meter relay in the preliminary run.
At the Pan American Games in Buenos Aires in 1951 , she won silver over 200 m and won the US 4-by-100-meter relay.
In 1949 (with her personal best of 24.2 s) and 1950 she became US champion over 200 m.
