Nemitz is a district of the municipality of Trebel in the Lüchow-Dannenberg district in Lower Saxony .

Geography and transport links

The village is southeast of the core town of Trebel. The B 493 runs north of the village . Between the towns Nemitz, Trebel and Prezelle the covers Nemitz heath , a 550 ha large heath in Elbhöhen-Wendland Nature Park . To the south-east lies the 535-hectare nature reserve Planken and Schletauer Post . The state border with Saxony-Anhalt runs south.
