Nennsdorf is a district of the municipality of Bucha in the Saale-Holzland district in Thuringia .

geography

State road 2308 runs through Nennsdorf from Jena in the direction of Milda . The place is located in a bottle neck-like valley with grassland and is surrounded by forest on the slopes and hills. The landscape is right on the doorstep for weekend tourism for the urban population.

history

On May 18, 876, Nennsdorf was first mentioned in a document. The oldest tradition from court owners comes from the period 1421–1425. In 1836 the place was called "Nensdorf", a further development of the name "Neugisdorf", which was used in 1442.
