Netherby is a town in North Yorkshire ( England ) in the Borough of Harrogate , 4.8 km southwest of Sicklinghall located.
In the village there is the Roman Catholic St. Joseph Church , the Pannal Church of the Church of England , the Chaim Synagogue and a few other places of worship .
On a dedicatory inscription found in Netherby, the name of the Celtic deity Veteris is mentioned along with Mogon . Veteris is mentioned especially in the area of Hadrian's Wall in a total of over 50 inscriptions from the Romano-British period.
