Neudorben is part of the Elbe-Parey community in the Jerichower Land district in Saxony-Anhalt .
history
Neuderbe was built on the north bank of the Plauer Canal , which flows into an oxbow river of the Elbe immediately below the old Parey lock , which above it became the branch of the canal into the Elbe. After the Parry lock was rebuilt about 1.5 kilometers west of the old building, the old lock was shut down. Remnants can be found on the southern outskirts.
geography
The place is one kilometer north-northeast of Parey and three kilometers south of Derben . The neighboring towns are Derben in the north, Seedorf in the north-east, Bergzow in the east, expansion in the south-east, Parey in the south, settlement in the south-west, Polte in the west and Im Busch and Nachtweide in the north-west.
economy
The Bolle shipyard is located in Neuderbe on the Pareyer connecting canal .
