Neufarn is a district of the municipality of Vaterstetten in the district of Ebersberg in Bavaria , administrative district of Upper Bavaria.
history
Neufarn is mentioned for the first time in the 13th century. Earlier names for the place were Neufahrn and Neufing .
location
Neufarn is located east of Munich near the A 94 motorway and forms the northeast of the municipality of Vaterstetten. An old salt road leads through the village to Munich, which later became federal highway 12 , and after the opening of the autobahn became district road EBE 5 . The place lies on the Munich gravel plain . Beyond the Neufarner mountain is located east the church and the place Anzing , south of the district Purfing , west and north of Parsdorf to the municipality Poing belonging place Angelbrechting .
Attractions
The neo-Gothic church of St. Peter and Paul (Neufarn) was built between 1866 and 1868 .
There are also two listed buildings in the village, the chapel and the Lukashaus.
Between the districts of Neufarn and Purfing there is still the small artificially created Lindsee, in the immediate vicinity there is also a chapel. This is also called the "Lindseekappelle".
