The Neutscher Bach is a left tributary of the Modau , which flows through Neutsch and Modau in the Hessian district of Darmstadt-Dieburg . The brook got its name after the source area Neutscher Höhe and the village of Neutsch.

The Neutscher Bach runs in the Vorderen Odenwald and in the Bergstrasse-Odenwald Nature Park . Its source is located southwest of Neutsch on the Neutscher Höhe .

The Neutscher Bach, which predominantly flows in a northeastern direction, runs in the upper reaches through Neutsch , a district of Modautal . In Neutsch the brook passes under the K137. Its lower course near the mouth flows through the village of Modau . In Modau the brook crosses two ponds . Then the brook crosses under Odenwaldstraße / L3099. Finally , the Neutscher Bach flows from the left and west into the Modau Rhine tributary flowing there from about the south .
