New York Jets Ring of Honor
At the New York Jets Ring of Honor , the New York Jets from the National Football League (NFL) honor players, coaches and officials who have made a special contribution to the team.
history
The Ring of Honor was launched on July 20, 2010. The recorded people will be honored on a ribbon inside the Meadowlands Stadium , the home of the Jets. An honor banner is also located in the team's training center. The first recorded people were honored on the occasion of an NFL game on August 16, 2010 in the stadium. Every year, proposals for further candidates are submitted to an election committee. There is no limit to the number of people that can be accepted per year. The electoral committee is made up of jet officials.
The Jets have not yet accepted all of their players who have been inducted into the Pro Football Hall of Fame into the circle of honors.
