Marcus Gastineau Dell (* 20th November 1956 in Ardmore , Oklahoma ) is a former American American football poker players, who from 1979 to 1988 for the New York Jets in the National Football League played (NFL).

He was considered one of the best players of his time. Due to private excesses, however, he increasingly got into the gossip press and ended his career in 1990 to start a new one as a boxer in 1991 , which lasted until 1996. He came into conflict with the law on several occasions and eventually spent eleven months in Rikers Island Prison , to which he was sentenced for assault. After his release in 2001, he said he found “Jesus” and has been preaching in religious circles ever since.

Gastineau has the daughter Brittny (* 1983) with the model Lisa Gastineau , with whom he was married from 1979 to 1996 , and the son Kilian Marcus (* 1989) with the actress Brigitte Nielsen , with whom he was dating in 1988.
