ngena (Next Generation Enterprise Network Alliance) is a German global IT service and network sharing company with headquarters in Frankfurt am Main . It was founded in 2016. After a partnership with 20 international IT companies, the company offers SD-WAN-based services worldwide.

history

In February 2016, Deutsche Telekom announced its plans to found ngena in collaboration with other telecommunications companies such as CenturyLink , SK Telecom and Jio , and they also announced that they would join ngena in its project. As a result, ngena GmbH was founded under the management of Marcus Hacke to provide innovative IT services and solutions worldwide.

Other telecommunications companies and IT service providers ngena may join, including A1 Telekom , SFR , Altice Portugal , KPN , MTN Group , StarHub , Telus , PCCW , Bechtle , Comarch , Equinix . In the first half of 2019, Deutsche Telekom gave up its stake in ngena.

In the summer of 2019, ngena founded the advisory board with four industry experts and announced Jack Sepple as chairman of the advisory board. In addition, ngena opened a US office in Miami , Florida .
