Altice Portugal is a Portuguese telecommunications company that operates worldwide. Altice Portugal focuses on the connection of telecommunications, media and information technologies. In addition to Portugal, its most important sales market, the company also operates in Brazil , Mozambique , Angola , France , Israel , Belgium , Dominican Republic , Luxembourg and Switzerland .

Altice Portugal operates the mobile communications company MEO . In Angola , the company has a 25% stake in Angolan Unitel , in Namibia with 34% in MTC Namibia , in Cape Verde with 40% in CV Telecom , in East Timor in Timor Telecom with 50.1%, and in the Telephone operators in Macau and São Tomé and Príncipe .

In February 2010, the Brazilian IT company Oi Portugal Telecom acquired.

In spring 2015, most of Portugal Telecom's operational business was sold to the Dutch Altice group and renamed Altice Portugal. The listed holding company Altice Portugal SGPS SA renamed itself Pharol SGPS SA after the sale and now has, among other things, business areas in Brazil.
