Nicholas Hooper
Nicholas Hooper (* 1952 ) is a British film composer.
He wrote and produced music for over 25 films (e.g. Harry Potter and the Order of the Phoenix , The Girl in the Café ), TV documentaries (e.g. several episodes of the series Nature , The Future is Wild ) and plays .
Work on Harry Potter
After John Williams wrote the score for the first three Harry Potter films, Patrick Doyle took over the work on the fourth. Nicholas Hooper then composed the music for the fifth and sixth Harry Potter films. The reason for this was the director David Yates , who had previously worked with the composer. Hooper chose his own style of music. He even interpreted the well-known "Hedwig's Theme" by John Williams differently, although Doyle also found his own interpretation of this piece.
