Nicholas "Nick" Scott Lachey (born November 9, 1973 in Harlan , Kentucky ) is an American singer and actor .

biography

Lachey is a member of the 98 Degrees group . In 2002, however, the band took a break; Lachey then started his solo career. In 2006 he received two Teen Choice Awards and a nomination for an MTV Video Music Award .

In the seventh season of the television series Charmed , he played the role of Phoebe's ghostwriter Leslie St. Claire .

On October 26, 2002, Lachey married singer and actress Jessica Simpson . Their marriage was featured in the reality TV format Newlyweds . The marriage was divorced in June 2006. On his US top 10 album What's Left Of Me , he processed the failed relationship. In 2011 he married the presenter Vanessa Minnillo .
