Nicolás Leandro Vélez (born July 4, 1990 in Buenos Aires ) is an Argentine football player .
Club career
Nicolás Vélez learned to play football in the youth team of River Plate in Buenos Aires . He signed his first contract in 2010 with Club Atlético Huracán in Parque Patricios , a district of Buenos Aires. In 2013 he moved to Atlético Sanluqueño CF in Sanlúcar de Barrameda . After a year he moved to Singapore , where he signed a contract with first division club Warriors FC . With the club he won the S. League championship in 2014 and was named Young Player of the Year. He won the Singapore Charity Shield in 2015. In August 2015, he went to India , where he signed a contract with NorthEast United FC from Guwahati . In February 2016 he left India and moved to Hajduk Split in Croatia . After six months in Croatia, he returned to NorthEast United FC in July 2016. In 2017 he moved to Thailand and joined the first division club Suphanburi FC from Suphan Buri . Here he scored 13 goals in 28 games. After a successful year in Suphanburi, he went to Malaysia in 2018 . Here he played one year in the Malaysia Super League for Negeri Sembilan FA . After the club was relegated to the second division at the end of 2018, he also left the club and went to Portugal , where he played for Belenenses SAD until September 2019 . At the end of 2019 he went back to Malaysia. Here he joined the first division club FELDA United from Jengka .
