Nicole Neubauer (* 1972 in Ingolstadt ) is a German crime novel writer, lawyer and editor.

Life

Neubauer studied English literature and law in Munich and London. As a consumer protection attorney in the area of ​​banking and capital markets law, she worked closely with the criminal police and the public prosecutor's office.

For her crime manuscript Kellerkind , she received a sponsorship place in the mentoring program of the Mörderische Schwestern eV and was advised as a mentor by the crime writer Gisa Klönne . The novel was published by Blanvalet Verlag in 2015 and reached number 19 on the Spiegel bestseller list . She wrote the libretto for the children's and youth musical Doktor Faustus , which premiered in Ingolstadt in 2014. Nicole Neubauer is a lawyer and certified lecturer at the Academy of German Media . She lives with her family in Munich-Schwabing.
