Nicole Schröber (born November 28, 1988 in Karl-Marx-Stadt ) is a former German volleyball player .

Career

Schröber began her volleyball career with the Chemnitz clubs KTV and PSV. She then received further training in the VC Olympia Dresden and Rhein-Neckar youth teams. The outside attacker played with the junior national team at the 2007 World Cup in Thailand . In the 2007/08 season she was German runner- up with Bundesliga club Dresdner SC, and a year later she was in the final of the DVV Cup . In 2010, the club achieved the greatest success in its history, winning not only the DVV Cup but also the Challenge Cup . In the same year Schröber began training in the law enforcement service . In 2011 the DSC was finally runner-up again. In February 2012 she had to end her volleyball career because of persistent knee problems.
