Nicotiana sect. Paniculatae is a section of the tobacco genus ( Nicotiana ). Seven species are counted to it.
description
The species of the Paniculatae section are strong herbaceous plants or small trees . The leaves are stalked and usually hairy with short, downy trichomes .
The flowers open during the day. The crown is radially symmetrical, tubular and greenish or yellow in color. The corolla tube is straight, the corolla lobes small and rounded.
The number of chromosomes is n = 12.
