Lower Austrian wine queen

The Lower Austrian Wine Queen is chosen every two years at different locations on the Lower Austrian Wine Gala . In addition, the wine ambassador for Lower Austria is appointed here. The best wines of the state will also be awarded at the event: In 2009 there were 16 state winners (15 wines and one sparkling wine) as well as 114 wines and four sparkling wines that were included in the “circle of the best”.

In the office of the Austrian Wine Queen , the Lower Austrian and Burgenland Wine Queens have alternated annually.
